Spindle Law Interviews Burt Neuborne This is the third interview in our series profiling great legal minds. Burt Neuborne answered our questions by email in January 2011.

Burt Neuborne is the Inez Milholland Professor of Civil Liberties at New York University School of Law. A well-known defender of civil liberties, Mr. Neuborne is the founding Legal Director of the Brennan Center for Justice. Mr. Neuborne was National Legal Director for the American Civil Liberties Union from 1981 to 1986. He is a civil rights scholar, having published three books and authored over 20 law review articles. In 1996, Professor Neuborne appeared as Jerry Falwell’s lawyer in the film The People vs. Larry Flynt. (more…)
