Olivier De Schutter has been the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food since May 2008. He currently is teaching human rights and EU law at Columbia University, as well as at the Catholic University of Louvain, and at the College of Europe (Natolin). Between 2002 and 2006, he chaired the EU Network of Independent Experts on Fundamental Rights, a high-level group of experts which advised the European Union institutions on fundamental rights issues. Since 2004, and until his appointment as the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, he was the General Secretary of the International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH) on the issue of globalization and human rights. Reynold Levy has been the President of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City since 2002, continuing a distinguished career of public service.  Mr. Levy was previously President of the International Rescue Committee, the senior officer of AT&T in charge of government relations, President of the AT&T Foundation, Executive Director of the 92^nd Street Y, and Staff Director of the Task Force on the New York City Fiscal Crisis.

A graduate of Hobart College, Mr. Levy holds a law degree from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in government and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.  He has served as a consultant, volunteer, and board member of numerous nonprofit and profit organizations.  Mr. Levy is currently a member of the Board of Overseers of the International Rescue Committee, a trustee of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, of Third Way, and of the Revson Foundation, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Century Association.
